Dad is on Sabbatical!

Guess what?! Dad is on a paid sabbatical from work for 10 weeks!! We thought we'd get him a few gifts to celebrate:  a book, a movie, and some lottery tickets (so maybe he'll never have to go back)!



Do you think he'd prefer if we gift-wrapped ourselves? 



This ripping wrapping business takes much skill... 



This piece looks perfect!



Although Dad's sabbatical has barely begun,  he already is cooking us a fine selection of meats!  No more boring kibble for us!




Yummy!  Can we have some corn on the cob too? 



Stay tuned for our upcoming adventures!  We have BIG PLANS for Dad but he doesn't know it yet...

You guys will love having your Dad home. My Dad is home all the time -- lots of treats, naps and other fun stuff all day long. Enjoy!

I just can't get over how beautiful these boys are! And how lovely that Dad will now be able to spend more time with them. Hmm, I'd say the fun is just now starting....!

I can almost see them drooling over the steaks and hot dogs. Molly's got her retired dad home full-time now and she's thrilled. He's her favorite swimming buddy.

Looks like a great start to you vacation. We never get any barbeque, you are lucky. P.S. We have not been commenting as much because Mom is lazy and won't always type when we dictate, not because we see other's comments, we actually like that.
