From the Treat Jar (Blog)

Hello there! As another holiday season is upon us, we'd thought we'd give you a few pointers on how to prepare for the big days ahead.
1. Wake the Humans Up Early
Sometimes your people forget to set their alarm and oversleep. You must prevent this tragedy from happening! Stand very close to their faces (they love that) and stare long and hard. They will be up in a jiffy.
2. Help With Chores
Yes, yes, if your humans were wealthier they would have a maid, but what can you do?
It's important to take teensy naps during the day. A refreshed dog is a useful dog, so a short power nap goes a long way.
Humans always appreciate some help in the kitchen. No need to get fancy; just make your favorite dishes and everyone will be thrilled.
5. Rest Again
Cooking and cleaning take A LOT of energy, so you deserve a little break now and then. Think of yourself! You're worth it!
6. Snack Often
It's very important to keep up your strength. Often your people get so busy that they forget to dole out appropriate snacks at regular intervals! You can remedy this oversight by making random sad faces.
7. Brush Your Teeth
After enough time has passed, feel free to let the humans know it is your bedtime. Brushing your teeth is a good indicator that your day is done.
8. Slip Into Bed
At last, it will finally be time to rest your weary bones!
And when you wake up, it will be another holiday for you to celebrate!
