Armadillo's Ordeal

Some of you might remember Black Bear and Armadillo from a Christmas blog entry. They were young and fresh then. Innocent. The best of friends. But one day...
Armadillo was critically injured! To the emergency vet, little fellow! 
Stay down where it's warm....
Hurry, Mom! Time is of the essence! 
Yes, yes! Small mammal here!
Ohhhhhhh, the wait! 
It is looking bad! 
Whew! 
Just a nasal fracture, loss of tissue, and slight dislocation...
I'm sorry, sweetie, but you will have to wear an e-collar. 
Cone buddies. Sigh.

BOL, BOL, BOL, This was the first thing we read this morning and our Dad laughed like crazy along with us.
Poor Mr. Armadillo, we know he will make a complete recovery, albeit a little less stuffing.

I have to agree with THEHEADDOG...your imagination has no bounds!! Quite often we have to repair some favorite toys of Kiwi's..but we have been lucky in not taking them to the vet!! We just numb up the broken area on the toy and stitch it up. They feel no pain!! Thank you for a huge laugh today!

oh, that's too.............. funny. i'm glad Mr. Armadillo made it to the doctor on time and he was saved, i definitely got my giggles in for the day.
Well, you just make us laugh. These boys are really HARD on their babies. We can't believe Augie still has that horrid collar.
