Finally!  I got to have BIRTHDAY WEEK just like my brother Augie did! 

DAY ONE -- THE ROYAL TREATMENT

I know how this day goes!  The robes, the crown, the ermine collar...

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!  A court jester?  Seriously??  Everyone is a comedian around here. 

Ahhh, now this is more like it...

It's tiring being king, though! 

After I was suitably wardrobed, Mom made me special doggy ice cream!

I declared it fit for a king! 

DAY TWO -- LET THE GIFTING BEGIN

A package arrived for me!! 

It was from my cousin Kimba, in Brazil! 

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I hope it's something good!

Score!!  A fathead stuffie of my very own!

And look!  An extra toy for Augie! 

Hey, gimme that! 

It's MY birthday week, after all! 

DAY THREE -- LET THE GIFTING CONTINUE

Another day, another package!  All mine!!  

Hrmphh, someone is spoiling my photo op!

What could it be?? 

A special stuffie from my girlfriend, Sophie! 

And a bully stick too! 

A charm for my collar!

DAY FOUR -- HOW ABOUT A ...GIFT?

Another day, another present!  This one was addressed to BOTH Augie and I .

It was from our golden retriever buddy, Bailey, in Ohio! 

Something from Kool Dog Kafe!  Mom says she always wanted to try them!  (Us too... )

It's a cake!! 

Smells yummy!! 

Sorry, but I really think this cake is all for me.  Move along now.

I'll just rest here until you go away...

DAY FIVE -- ANYONE WANT A GIFT?

Guess what?  MORE gifts came today!  A guy can get used to this. Augie got one too, from our girlfriend, Luna!

DAY SIX -- TAKE A GUESS!

ANOTHER gift for both of us!  Can you believe it??  This time from Oakley, our doggy pal in Canada!

  Augie tagged along too. 

Augie found some friendly strangers and parked himself in front of them most of the time...

We waited almost two hours  for the marching band to go by, because BOTH of our sisters are in it this year!  Just as mom was setting up the shot, a group of fans came over to pay homage to us and blocked her from taking a picture.  We think we heard some  .  Here's what you would have seen (that's me on the right) ...

DAY SEVEN -- MY BIRTHDAY HAS ARRIVED!

I thought this day would never get here!  Today I am the big 3.   Mom baked me a cake...
