Mr. Chewy and a Giveaway!

Hello and Happy New Year!  We hope you had a good start to 2012!



Today we'd like to introduce you to Mr. Chewy! 




Heheheh, just kidding!  The REAL Mr. Chewy is an online store    that ships pet happiness right to your door!  (And you know that pet happiness = treats and food, right?)  Mr. Chewy gave us a very generous gift certificate just to try them out.  Mom ordered on a Thursday and all this HAPPINESS arrived two days later! 



We were so thrilled!  We could have treats at breakfast and dinner,   treats for brunch and with our mid-afternoon tea,    treat parties, treat baths... the possibilities were endless!  Then Mom said we weren't going to keep them all!  What?!  That called for drastic measures.



(It didn't work.) :( But once we found out that most of the treats were going to the poor dogs at the Humane Society, we felt better!  And then we felt REALLY good when we got to try Oven Baked Classic Wafers by Three Dog Bakery! 



(Unfortunately, we don't have a NORMAL mom  who just hands us treats.  She has to put them on our snooters and make us wait.)

On a sad note, we were so upset to learn that our golden retriever pal, Farley, passed away unexpectedly this week.  We are heartbroken and so are his people.  Please visit their blog and show them some love. Rest in peace, dear Farley.

First of all, what a wonderful thing you boys are doing by donating some of these goodies to the shelter. Those doggies being cared for there will be so happy. Now, sign us up!! That just so happens to be the same food that Kasey eats and I'm sure he'd enjoy the cookies too. As for the adorable doggie toy, it would be history in minutes...LOL !! But, that is part of the fun, right?

So sorry to hear about Farley....I'm sure his family is feeling so lost without him :-((

Yes, please enter me. I am so sorry for your loss. I know what the loss of a pet is like. My last dog, Teddy, had him for 17 years. It took a long while to get over his death, if you will. After 8 years, I adopted a puppy over Christmas. My thoughts are with you guys.
