Christmas greetings to you!    How was your holiday?  We can't say ours started off too well.  The "B" word was uttered,    and you know how that goes.

(Someone should tell Mom that holiday headbands do NOT make bathtime more "festive.")

Having survived a very unnecessary bath, we decided to check our stockings.  Would you believe they were empty?! 

It was like nobody loved us! We wondered if we'd get anything at all for Christmas.

Then guess what?  Our lovely friends   restored our faith in mankind by sending lots and lots of stuff!

  Playing cards with OUR picture on them, from Kay and Bailey!  These will come in handy because Mom likes to gamble play cards with her friends!  Thank you so much!

This package came all the way from Pakistan  from Ayesha and Pintu!  That's like a million miles away!

Pintu's mom drew our portraits!    How amazing!

She even drew a portrait of Gretchen, our family's first dog! 

There was a homemade card, too!  Many to Ayesha and Pintu for the thoughtful gifts!  Mom says she will cherish them always! 

All done, you ask?  No way!    The fabulous Jill and Sydney  knew we had next to nothing, so they sent us  amazing toys!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our Brazilian  cousin, Kimba (we really are related!) thought we needed a little something too!

Oh my!  A wooly mammoth and a triceratops! 

Never fear, we'll take GREAT care of these babies!  We appreciate these so much, Kimba and family! 

The fabulosity continues!  Our friends Kiwi  and Karen gave us big, fluffy woobies to love too!  Aren't they cute?  They say 2011 on them! 

  There's more!   Janelle and Sophie Lou thought of us too!  These stuffies are adorable!

In case you were wondering,   Auntie Laura and Uncle Craig bought us big chewy bones, and Santa    brought us more gifts and filled our stockings with goodies too!  Thank you everyone!  These might last us a little while!

As we sat contemplating our good friends and good fortune...

...we did what any contented dogs would do...
